Golden Middle in Case of Value Conflicts in the Realization of the Freedom of Religion and Expression -the Way to the Democratic Society.

Within the scope of the project, collection of legislative acts titled “Freedom of Religion and Expression” was prepared and published. The publication gathers Georgian legislative acts regulating the freedom of religion and expression. The publication also includes several precedential decisions taken by the supreme courts of the Europe and the USA in case of the conflict between the freedom of faith and freedom of expression, as well as the developments classified as intercultural conflicts caused by the collisions of the freedom of expression and belief.
Six meetings in participation of the clergy representing various religious unions being the members of Interreligious Council were organized. Representatives of media, legislative and executive authorities and public also attended these meetings.
