Development of Democracy and Improvement of Tolerant Environment in Georgia – the Pass to the European Union.

Taking into consideration ongoing Eurointegration process, The Union Century 21 took decision to take actions aimed at increasing the awareness of Orthodox clergy on the values envisioned by the Association Agreement with the EU, as well as on the process of European integration, models of the relationship between the state and church in the EU countries, issues dealing with funding religious unions, freedom of religion and expression, religion and bioethics, international aspects of the freedom of belief, etc.
From April to October of 2014, the organization held the meetings with the clergy of Georgian Orthodox Church. In all 16 meetings were organized during of which the above issues were discussed together with clergy, lawyers and invited experts.
